ALBANY - Radio stations and 12 businesses in southwest Georgia are trying to raise ten-thousand dollars in pennies to help the Albany Humane Society. <br>

The program called ``Pennies for Puppies'' kicked off Monday. The money will be given to the Humane Society to pay for spaying and neutering programs. <br>
<br>
The program runs until March. Donations made at any of the three chapters of Albany Bank and Trust or the Humane Society.
