ATLANTA - An Atlanta man convicted of organizing a sex show that involved a 16-year-old girl was sentenced Tuesday to eight years in prison.
Last month, a jury convicted Jason Chadwick Ford, 25, on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor for paying the teen to perform a lesbian sex act at Club Zinc last July.
During a raid at the club, police found another woman engaged sexually with 10 men onstage. More than 100 spectators had paid $25 each to watch, authorities said.
Ford had said he thought the girl was 18.
On Tuesday, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Stephanie Manis sentenced Ford to 20 years in prison, requiring only eight to be carried out.
Manis also had directed a verdict of acquittal for Amanda Jones, Ford's 29-year co-defendant, who participated in the sex act with the teenager. The teen testified she told Jones she was an adult.
