MARIETTA - A 12-year-old Cobb County boy who was hit by a truck as he ran from a bus stop to a convenience store across the street has died. <br>

Authorities say Justin Meeks died Thursday morning at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. <br>

Justin was struck about 6:45 a.m. Wednesday as he crossed the busy seven-lane road with other children. <br>
<br>
Police say they do not expect to charge the driver of the truck, who stopped after the accident.
