ATLANTA - The son of an Atlanta television station personality was shot to death Monday night in northeast Atlanta, according to police. <br>

Tewodrus Gebre-Hiwet, 22, was shot about 7:15 p.m. at an apartment complex near Atlanta Medical Center. Gebre-Hiwet is the son of Jocelyn Dorsey, community affairs director for WSB-TV. <br>

Gebre-Hiwet was found lying in a courtyard. He was shot once and died at the scene, Atlanta police Sgt. Louie Torres said. <br>

``All of us at Channel 2 are saddened to learn of Jocelyn's tragic loss,'' WSB-TV vice president and general manager Greg Stone said in a statement. ``She has been a part of the WSB family for 30 years. Right now, our hearts and prayers are with her and her family.''
