Hundreds march near Georgia Capitol on 30th anniversary of Roe v. Wade

ATLANTA - Anti-abortion protesters came to the Georgia Capitol Wednesday and were greeted by Republicans in power who promised to support their cause. <br> <br> Supporters and opponents of abortion rights gathered Wednesday to mark the 30th anniversary of the Supreme Court&#39;s Roe V- Wade decision, which legalized abortion. <br> <br> Republican Senate President Pro Tem Eric Johnson of Savannah told hundreds of anti-abortion demonstrators the GOP-controlled Senate would block money for abortion rights groups. <br> <br> Meanwhile, the state&#39;s House Rules Committee chairman -- Democratic Representative Calvin Smyre of Columbus -- said Tuesday he&#39;ll make it difficult for any anti-abortion bill to get out of his committee for a full vote. <br> <br> The Rules Committee controls the flow of bills to the full House.
