RICHMOND, KENTUCKY - Matt Witt scored 20 points to lead Eastern Kentucky to a 68-64 win over Morris Brown Wednesday night. <br>

Witt connected on four of the Colonels' six 3-pointers as Eastern (8-10) snapped a four-game losing streak and gave Morris Brown its first loss in its last five games. <br>

The Wolverines (5-14) led by as many as three at 46-43 with 7:28 remaining, but the Colonels went on a 15-2 run to take a game-high 58-48 lead with six minutes remaining. <br>

Both teams fought through six lead changes and seven ties in the first half until Morris Brown outscored Eastern 12-4 in the final 4:43 to turn a 25-19 deficit into a 31-29 lead at the break. <br>

Eastern was 14-of-23 from the field in the second half for 60.9 percent, while holding Morris Brown to 9-of-23 shooting (39.1 percent). <br>

Michael Haney followed Witt with 18 points, Jon Bentley chipped in 14, and Ben Rushing added 10 for the Colonels. <br>

Anthony Adams led Morris Brown with 22 points, Larry Washington followed with 15, and Stephen Walton added 14. Amien Hicks had 11 rebounds for the Wolverines.
