COLUMBIA, S.C. - South Carolina's athletic department reported three rules violations - two involving the baseball team - to the Southeastern Conference in the fall semester and all were found secondary in nature with no further penalty coming from the league or the NCAA. <br>

In one report, a baseball recruit was called twice in the same week by assistant coaches. The other incident occurred when a preapproved dinner the baseball team was to have at the Nebraska home of an alumnus before the College World Series in Omaha was changed to a local country club to accommodate the large group. <br>

The last report regarded information in last summer's football camp brochure run by the school and coaching staff. The school found the 2002 football schedule and the Gamecocks' back-to-back Outback Bowl championships were mentioned and both were not related specifically to camp events and activities. <br>

The school said in each case, it was found South Carolina acted responsibly. No further action was taken by the NCAA or SEC. <br>

South Carolina appealed to have the eligibility of affected athletes restored in each case. The school said it was.
