Tropical Storm Isidore continues to move northward across the Gulf, and forecasters are expanding the warning area. <br>

There's now a tropical storm warning posted from High Island, Texas, eastward to St. Marks Florida, which is south of Tallahassee. The hurricane watch still stands between Cameron, Louisiana, and Pascagoula, Mississippi. <br>

Isidore is now centered about 270 miles south of New Orleans. Movement remains to the north at 13 miles an hour, with landfall expected on the Louisiana coast after midnight Wednesday. <br>
<br>
Top sustained winds are near 60 miles an hour, with some strengthing now considered possible before landfall. Heavy rain is ahead and to the east of center, and forecasters say rainfall amounts of ten to 20 inches are possible over the Southeast this week as Isidore comes ashore. <br>
