Shooting ends Savannah teen's college dream

SAVANNAH - Brendan Ingram was days away from starting college at Savannah Tech. But a shooting outside a Savannah bar ended his teenage dreams forever. <br> <br> The 19-year-old was shot and killed Sunday standing outside a Savannah lounge. Police said Ingram was an innocent bystander, felled by a stray bullet from an angry bar patron who burst outside the doors. <br> <br> The alleged shooter, 20-year-old Mustafa Savior, has been charged with murder. <br> <br> Ingram graduated from Beach High School last June, but spent much of last week there, helping staff with school records. His counselor, Arthur Howard, said everyone at school called the boy ``Bamm.&#39;&#39; <br> <br> Some remember Ingram as an avid church-goer. He attended services and a youth social at his Adventist Church earlier in the evening he was killed. <br> <br> Ingram&#39;s father died when he was a young boy. His brother -- Darrell Ingram -- is serving two life terms plus 35 years in prison for killing two youths and wounding a third outside a high school dance in 2000.
