MOULTRIE - A seventh case of West Nile virus in Georgia has been reported, this time in southwest Georgia. <br>

A 57-year-old Colquitt County woman has tested positive for the disease. She was hospitalized two weeks ago with severe flu-like symptoms and is now home recovering. <br>

So far, three Georgia residents have died of the mosquito-borne virus, one last year and two this year. Health officials are urging people to wear insect repellent and long sleeves and pants to protect themselves when they're outside. <br>

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta reports the national West Nile tally this year stands at 854 human infections and 43 fatalities from the virus.
