ATLANTA - Georgia's regulated natural gas provider is waiving its deposit for poor families and senior citizens who sign up for gas service through October 20.
In June, the Public Service Commission chose Scana Energy to serve as the state's regulated provider and utility of last-resort.
On September first, Scana Energy Regulated Division began serving Georgians whose income is 150 percent or less of the federal poverty scale and for those whose poor credit histories prevents them from receiving gas service.
