Clerk shoots teen during robbery attempt

STONE MOUNTAIN - DeKalb County police have charged a 15-year-old with armed robbery and two counts of attempted armed robbery after he was shot by a clerk at a gas station. <br> <br> Lieutenant Pam Kunz says a 17-year-old accomplice identified as Orlando Harris of Stone Mountain also faces the same charges. Police believe he drove the getaway car. <br> <br> Police say the 15-year-old was shot about 11 p.m. Wednesday at the Stone Mountain gas station after he shot at the clerk, who returned fire. Police believe the store was the third place they believe the two tried to rob that night. <br> <br> The suspect was shot in the chest, and the two fled. Minutes later, police responded to a nearby house, where a male juvenile had been shot in the chest. The teen was taken to DeKalb Medical Center and is in stable condition. <br> <br> Investigators determined that the juvenile was the one shot in the robbery at the store. <br> <br> Harris remains in the DeKalb County Jail. <br> <br> Detectives also charged the suspects with the attempted robbery at another gas station and a McDonald&#39;s restaurant.
