FLOWERY BRANCH - Atlanta Falcons guard Roberto Garza broke a bone in his foot in the team's loss to the Chicago Bears and will miss six-to-eight weeks.
Garza hurt his foot on the first series of Sunday's game.
But he stayed in the lineup.
Coach Dan Reeves said Monday that the injury will require surgery.
Reeves says Garza couldn't put pressure on his foot by the time he showered after the game.
Kynan Forney should replace Garza. But he's also been slowed by a nagging turf toe injury.
