ATLANTA - Former Falcons quarterback Chris Chandler says coach Dan Reeves may not be around for long if the team doesn't improve soon.

Chandler says Reeves has slowly dismantled a quality team since its 1998 Super Bowl appearance.

But he's also clearly resentful since being cut from the roster during the offseason in favor of Michael Vick.

Chandler says new Falcons owner Arthur Blank will figure out pretty quickly that Reeves is an obstacle to the team winning consistently.

Now Chandler is a backup for the Chicago Bears.
The Bears beat the Falcons 14-13 Sunday when Jay Feely missed what could have been a 45-yard game-winning field goal.
It was the second excruciating defeat for the Falcons, who opened the season with a 37-34 overtime loss at Green Bay.
