DECATUR - Authorities say the body of an Alzheimer's patient missing from a DeKalb County nursing home for a week has been found in a nearby neighborhood. <br>

Police confirm the body is that of 81-year-old Emma Simon. She had wandered away from the Briarwood Nursing Center on September eleventh. <br>

DeKalb County police spokeswoman Lieutenant Pam Kunz said Thursday that Simon died of natural causes. <br>
<br>
Her body was found about 7 p.m. Wednesday behind a storage shed in a yard.
