ATLANTA - Myshy McAlphine ran for 165 yards on 19 carries as Morris Brown piled up 339 yards on the ground to snap a three-game losing streak and post its first victory of the season in a 44-7 rout of Clark Atlanta on Saturday. <br>

The Wolverines scored twice on fumble recoveries in the first quarter a 24-yard return by Torres Mozley and an end zone recovery by James Thorton that erased a 7-6 deficit and put Morris Brown ahead to stay with 7:02 left in the first. <br>

Morris Brown's other scoring came on a 1-yard run by Nate Anderson, a 14-yard pass from Ralph Gordon to and Roderick Lowe, a 5-yard run by Tawfig Ramsey and a 20-yard run by Travis Kimble. Michael Gaston added a 32-yard field goal. <br>

Clark Atlanta (2-2) got its only score on a 61-yard run by Domninique Brown with 11:42 left in the opening period. Brown led the Panthers with 49 yards on five carries.
