Mortgage worker accused of stealing from customers

MARIETTA - A temporary worker at a mortgage lender is accused of taking 68 customers' Social Security numbers and using them to open checking accounts and buy a sports car. <br>

James Ellis Young, 30, of Joliet, Ill., was arrested last week and charged with forgery and theft over a one-month period at Wells Fargo Mortgage. <br>
<br>
Police say Young used the identities of loan applicants to create checking accounts, open credit card accounts and buy a Ford Mustang. <br>
<br>
If convicted, Young faces up to a maximum of 10 years for each count of identity fraud, a maximum of 10 years for theft by taking and five for forgery.
