Braves name Dayton Moore director of player personnel

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Braves named Dayton Moore the club's director of player personnel Friday. <br>

The 35-year-old Moore has been director of international and professional scouting the past two years. He will be responsible for all scouting and player development matters in the newly created position. <br>
<br>
Moore joined the Braves in 1994 as an area scouting supervisor.
