Two men charged with convenience store clerk's death

DECATUR - Two men have been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a convenience store clerk in DeKalb County. <br> <br> Shakina R. Cheney, 20, of East Point, and Cornelius Howard, 21, were charged with murder and armed robbery, police said Thursday. The shooting happened July 22 during a robbery attempt at a Texaco gas station and convenience store on Lawrenceville Highway. <br> <br> Police said three men entered the store and took an undetermined amount of cash. The victim, 52-year-old Mohammed Abedin, was shot in the chest. He later died at an area hospital. <br> <br> Investigators are looking for other suspects - Martinez Weathers, 34, and Anthony Turner, 20. Both are believed to be from College Park.
