NORCROSS - Gwinnett County police have charged a man with murdering his 66-year-old mother. <br>

Lillian Bruscato was found dead in her kitchen Thursday. Police said she had been stabbed multiple times and bludgeoned. <br>

Police arrested 39-year-old Victor Bruscato on Thursday in a wooded area near the house. <br>

His father, Vito Bruscato, 68, called police after he found his wife's body. <br>
<br>
Gwinnett police spokesman Ray Dunlap said the son suffered from mental illness and apparently had not been taking his medication. He lived with his parents, who were taking care of him when Lillian Bruscato was killed.
