ATLANTA - The Atlanta Braves honored longtime trainer Dave Pursley at a ceremony before Thursday night's game against the San Francisco Giants. <br>

Pursley is retiring at the end of the season after 44 years with the team. <br>

The players chipped in to give Pursley a new Lexus car. He also received a pair of international airline tickets from Delta, a three-day duck and goose hunt in Kentucky and autographed jerseys from the team's top players. <br>
<br>
Giants manager Dusty Baker, who played with the Braves during the 1970s, presented Pursley with autographed jerseys from Willie Mays, Willie McCovey and Orlando Cepeda.
