Haas, who is from Greer, South Carolina, advanced to the third round of match play and beat D.J. Trahan of Inman, South Carolina, 2-and-1. <br>
<br>
Friday, Haas will be in the quarterfinals in the tournament played at Oakland Hills Country Club in Michigan.<br>
