Customers lose power after substation vandalism in Buford

BUFORD - Some five-thousand Georgia Power customers lost power after someone vandalized a substation near Buford.<br>

The lights were back on Friday morning after the damage at the substation near the Mall of Georgia. <br>
<br>
A Georgia Power Company spokeswoman says the vandals damaged circuit breakers. <br>
<br>
Georgia Power shares the substation with a local E-M-C. <br>
<br>
Those customers also were affected Thursday.
