GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Grand Jury Friday returned indictments against a Buford man related to the June 23 murder of his wife.
Hall County District Attorney Jason Deal says 25-year-old Joseph Alan Edwards will be tried on counts of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and concealing the death of another.
Deal hasn't decided whether to seek the death penalty.
Three men have been indicted in a Hall County drive-by shooting that killed two men.
Deal says they are 19-year-old Angel Mario DeLeon, 17-year-old Amado Junior Madrigal, and 15-year-old Charles Douglas Graham.
The alleged gang attack happened June 17 during a birthday party at a house on Smallwood Road.
One-hundred-fifty true bills have been issued from the 159 cases presented during the current term of the Hall County Grand Jury.
Jurors met for three days this week after initially serving three days in July.
District Attorney Jason Deal doesn't anticipate calling this group back. A new term begins in November.
