ATLANTA - Dozens of inmates at the Fulton County jail resisted guards Saturday night when it was time to go to bed but the Atlanta Falcons football game wasn't over yet.
Sheriff Jackie Barrett says more than 150 law enforcement were called in and the inmates willingly went back to their cells after a cooling off period.
Barrett says the inmates were caught up in a close game that the Falcons ended up winning 21-19.
About 105 inmates were in the area of the disturbance. Most of them were being held for nonviolent crimes.
Barrett says she has the names of two ringleaders who led the resistance.
