MONROE - Investigators are looking into a fire at a fundamentalist Baptist church in Walton County.
The blaze at First Congressional Holiness church started about 11 p.m. Saturday night, said Insurance Commissioner John Oxendine. Nobody was in the church and there were no injuries.

He said there is no concrete evidence yet to indicate that the fire was an arson.

``I have my arson investigators and fire investigators on the scene. We don't see any evidence of arson, but it's still early in the investigation,'' he said.
Monroe is about 40 miles east of Atlanta.

The fire, which started in the church's attic, caused a moderate amount of damage but was quickly contained, Oxendine said.
The church planned to go ahead with services Sunday.
The state has a telephone line set up to report information about arsons with a potential reward up to $10,000.
