Forest Park police investigate woman's death as homicide

FOREST PARK - Forest Park police are investigating the death of a woman found in her home as a homicide. <br>

The woman, identified as Barbara Harris, 35, was found Tuesday. Her three-year-old daughter was found unharmed with her mother. <br>
<br>
The woman also had an 11-year-old son, who could not get his mother to answer the door when he got home from school about 4 p.m. <br>
<br>
Neighbors say Harris was a single mother. <br>
<br>
The children are now in protective custody. <br>
<br>
An autopsy is planned. Police have not said how the woman died. Forest Park Lieutenant Robert Cotrell says the death is being investigated as a homicide.
