Former teacher's aide charged with child molestation

GRIFFIN - Spalding County authorities arrested a former high school teacher's aide on charges involving sexual misconduct with students. <br>

Lauren Summers, 21, a paraprofessional and assistant coach at Spalding High School in Griffin, resigned last week when school officials began investigating the allegations. <br>
<br>
Summers was arrested and charged Tuesday night with enticing a child for indecent purposes and child molestation. At least eight cases are being investigated, police said. <br>
<br>
Summers has denied the allegations. She was released on a $12,206 bond Wednesday afternoon.
