No bomb found after evacuation at Atlanta federal building

ATLANTA - A federal building in downtown Atlanta was evacuated Thursday after a bomb threat, but no explosives were found. <br> <br> Officials searched the Richard B. Russell Federal Building three times, including a search with bomb-sniffing dogs, but found nothing suspicious, officials said. <br> <br> A specific and credible bomb threat was called in about 8:30 a.m., said FBI spokesman Jeff Holmes. <br> <br> The building was empty by 9:30 a.m., and workers were permitted to return by 11:30 a.m., said Arnold Perkins, a senior deputy for the U.S. Marshals, Northern District of Georgia, which has offices in the building.
