PANAMA CITY BEACH, FLORIDA - A 16-year-old girl abducted from her home Saturday has been found in Texas, officials said.
Amber Lee Davis was in police custody of the Orange, Texas, Saturday night, said Lisa Lagergren, spokeswoman for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
No arrests have been made, Lagergren said.
``We're still looking for the guy,'' Lagergren said.
The teen was believed to have been abducted from her north Florida home early Saturday morning. When answered the door about 6:40 EST, a man grabbed her and forced her into his car, police said.
Lagergren said she did not know how Davis came to be in police custody.
Orange police declined to comment on the case. The Bay County Sheriff's office also declined to immediately comment.
The state issued an ``Amber Alert'' for the girl. The system, named for a 9-year-old Texas girl who was abducted and murdered in 1996, uses radio and television emergency airwaves across the state to broadcast notices of child abductions.
FDLE spokeswoman Lisa Lagergren said information on the case was also sent to authorities in Georgia, Louisiana and Alabama.
