Lawyer faces prison and fine for trying to carry gun

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA - A Florida lawyer faces ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine for attempting to carry a gun on to an airplane. <br> <br> Thirty-eight-year-old David Craig Calley of Jacksonville was charged Sunday with attempting to board an aircraft with a concealed dangerous weapon accessible in flight. <br> <br> Security workers at Jacksonville International Airport discovered the unloaded gun in Calley&#39;s carryon luggage when he was trying to board an afternoon flight on Delta Air Lines to Atlanta. <br> <br> Airport police say Calley had a license to carry a firearm, but did not tell airline employees he was carrying the gun as required. <br> <br> The judge released Calley on his own recognizance. Calley, who said he plans to represent himself, is scheduled for an arraignment in Jacksonville Friday. <br> <br> He is the second man arrested this month at the Jacksonville airport for carrying a gun.
