ATLANTA - Police believe robbery was the motive in the overnight shooting death of a guest at a motel in south Atlanta. <br>

The man -- believed to be in his 50s and from Michigan -- was confronted by someone about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday. <br>

He apparently was shot in his room at a Days Inn off Cleveland Avenue. <br>
<br>
Authorities have not released the name of the victim.
