Sosa misses game because of family emergency

ATLANTA - Chicago right fielder Sammy Sosa missed Friday night&#39;s game against the Braves because of a family emergency. <br> <br> Cubs spokesman Chuck Wasserstrom says Sosa flew back to Chicago earlier Friday and isn&#39;t expected to return to Atlanta for the final two games of the series. <br> <br> Roosevelt Brown took Sosa&#39;s spot in the outfield, and Moises Alou batted third in the lineup. <br> <br> It&#39;s the first game Sosa has missed this season. In 83 games, he&#39;s batting .307 with 28 homers and 58 RBI&#39;s. He&#39;s scheduled to start in next week&#39;s All-Star game.
