ATLANTA - Former Marietta resident Corey Patterson has just finished his second full season with the Chicago Cubs. But things have not turned out the way the former Harrison High School standout hoped they would.
The team struggled before the All-Star break, going 35-51. That leaft them trailing the National League Central leader Saint Louis by 12-and-a-half games.
On a stop at Turner Field, Patterson told The Marietta Daily Journal the team has not been winning games the way they are capable pof doing.
But, he said, ``We want to keep everything positive.''
