KENNESAW - A National Guard corporal at the Kennesaw armory has been freed on bond on child molestation charges.
Scott Lombardi, 34, was arrested Sunday and charged with felony counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes and with exploiting a child through computer pornography. He was released Tuesday on $20,000 bond.
Police say Lombardi - who started a paramilitary program for youths - is accused of molesting a 15-year-old boy.
Kennesaw Police Detective Craig Chandler says the mother of the teen called police Friday after getting an ``uneasy feeling'' when reading her son's instant messaging on his computer.

The woman gave police a printed-out ``sexually explicit conversation'' allegedly going on between her son and Lombardi.

The mother told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that her son admitted to police that he had been fondled by Lombardi.

She said her son was 14 when he first met Lombardi, who spent 12 years on active duty in the armed services and who later worked full-time for the National Guard as the armory's administrator. Lombardi is a drill instructor to new recruits.
Cobb County police's crimes against children unit will investigate any other allegations.
