Authorities seize 730 marijuana plants in Washington County

SANDERSVILLE - Washington County authorities have seized 730 marijuana plants in the county&#39;s largest such drug bust. <br> <br> The plants were discovered by a Georgia State Patrol surveillance plane Wednesday in two different parts of the county, southwest of Augusta. <br> <br> Sheriff Thomas Smith says both marijuana fields are believed to belong to the same people. Charges are pending. <br> <br> Two all-terrain vehicles and trailers also were seized.
