MARIETTA - A 35-year-old man whose electricity was turned off by the power company was found dead in his home, apparently poisoned by fumes from a gas generator, authorities said.
``When police and fire came on the scene, the generator was still running and the home was filled with carbon monoxide,'' Cobb County Police spokesman Dana Pierce said.
Kenneth Thiel, who was found by a friend Wednesday, was a Georgia Power customer, and his power was turned off July 10 because of non-payment, utility spokeswoman Lolita Brown said.
