Five dead after accident on Interstate 75 in south Georgia

ADEL - A tractor-trailer struck the back of a van on Interstate 75 in south Georgia Frida, killing five of the van&#39;s occupants and triggering a five-vehicle accident that forced the Georgia Department of Transportation to close all northbound lanes. <br> <br> D.O.T. spokeswoman Karlene Barron says the wreck happened about 3:30 p.m. There were no details immediately available whether there were other injuries in the accident. <br> <br> Adel is about 25 miles north of Valdosta.
