Husband of pedestrian driving truck involved in her death

GAINESVILLE - State Troopers Saturday morning said two pickup trucks were involved in a collision that ultimately killed a Gainesville woman Friday afternoon.

The accident happened at about 4:00 p.m. on Skelton Road at Gaines Road. Troopers said the pedestrian, 39 year old Connie Grindle, died when she was hit during the wreck.

Troopers say her husband, 44 year old Bradley Grindle, was driving one of the trucks. The other was driven by 44 year old Ricky Young of Gainesville.

The state patrol's Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team continues to investigate. Any charges in the accident remain pending.
