Parks to run for Hall commission

GAINESVILLE - A retired Gainesville man Wednesday announced plans to run for the Hall County Commission in this year's Republican Primary.

Don Parks, who is 67 and is a retired District Director North for the state Department of Rehabilitation Services, says he will run for the post being vacated by Stephen Black. Black has said he will be a candidate for the State House this year.

Parks is also a former District Coordiantor for 9th District Congressman Nathan Deal.
