Arrest made in meth lab case

GAINESVILLE - Authorities have made an arrest after the discovery of a methamphetamine lab at Loudsville Church Campground in White County last month.

On Wednesday, May 29th, Hall County Deputies, acting on warrants obtained by the Appalachian Drug Task Force, arrested 45 year old Edward Lee Pardue at his home in Gainesville.

Pardue was charged with manufacturing and possession of methamphetmine, burglary and abandonment of dangerous drugs.

Task force director Mike Rundles said that further arrests in the case are not likely, but the case is still open.
