Atlantic Sun tournament returns to Georgia State in 2003

ATLANTA - The Atlantic Sun Conference will hold its 2003 men&#39;s basketball tournament at Georgia State. <br> <br> The tournament, scheduled for March 6-8, returns to the Georgia State Sports Arena for the second time in three years. In 2001, the host school won the tournament and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament during a 29-5 season. <br> <br> The 12-team Atlantic Sun will have a two-division alignment this season, with eight schools qualifying for the conference tournament. The format will be decided at a later conference meeting; newcomer Gardner-Webb is not eligible this season. <br> <br> ``Atlanta is a great championship site for us and we know Georgia State will do a tremendous job, as they have in the past,&#39;&#39; league commissioner Bill Bibb said. ``The Atlanta media market gives us outstanding coverage and the location is within driving distance for most of our schools.&#39;&#39;
