Marshall assistant named men's basketball coach at Armstrong Atlantic

HUNTINGTON, WEST VIRGINIA - Marshall University assistant coach Jeff Burkhamer has been named men's basketball coach at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia. <br>

Marshall coach Greg White, who made the announcement Monday, says he's thrilled for Burkhamer. <br>
<br>
Burkhamer, a native of Williamson, has been at Marshall for the last four seasons and was named assistant coach last season. He also was head coach at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Florida, where his teams won two Mid-Florida Conference titles. <br>
<br>
He led Santa Fe to a school record 28 victories during the 1995-1996 season.
