ARLINGTON, TEXAS - John Rocker got the win in his second appearance since returning to the Texas Rangers from a minor league assignment. <br>

Rocker (1-1) pitched a scoreless eighth inning Wednesday night in the Rangers' 10-4 victory over the Cincinnati Reds. He struck out two, walked one and was helped by a double play.<br>

He also had some help at the plate. Rookie Kevin Mench hit a two-run single and Michael Young had a bases-loaded triple as the Rangers rallied for seven runs in the eighth inning.<br>

Rocker was recalled Sunday from AAA Oklahoma.<br>

He got the final two outs in Monday's 8-2 victory over the Reds in his first major league appearance since May 18.
