Former Tech center Isenhour dead at 23

ATLANTA - Former Georgia Tech center Michael Isenhour died after a nine-month battle with leukemia. He was 23. <br> <br> Isenhour died at Emory Hospital on Thursday, nine days after he underwent a bone marrow transplant. He had been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in October. <br> <br> Isenhour, a 6-foot-8 center from Lawrenceville, played in 39 games for the Yellow Jackets in 1999-2000 and 2000-01. He attended the Air Force Academy for one year before transferring to Tech to be near his mother. <br> <br> He graduated from the university in December with a degree in mechanical engineering and was scheduled to begin graduate studies this summer. <br> <br> ``Everyone in the Georgia Tech community suffered a personal loss yesterday when Michael passed,&#39;&#39; said head basketball coach Paul Hewitt. <br> <br> Funeral arrangements were incomplete.
