OMAHA, NEBRASKA - Sophomore pitcher Kyle Bakker is Georgia Tech's lone baseball All-America this year, earning a spot on the third team. <br>

The team is voted by the National Collegiate Basketball Writers Association. <br>

Bakker -- a 6-foot-9 left-hander -- improved to 13-2 with his victory over South Carolina in Friday's opening game of the College World Series. He is 3-0 with a .075 ERA in three NCAA appearances this year. <br>

The Yellow Jackets lost to Clemson in the College World Series Sunday and will have to fight their way out of the losers' bracket. They'll play South Carolina again in an elimination game Tuesday.
