ATLANTA - Closing arguments are under way in Fulton County Superior Court in the murder trial of Jim Watson, a 39-year-old Fayette County man accused of killing his wife in 1997.
The prosecution contends that Beverley Watson marked her killer with scratches before her death and that she told friends if anything ever happened to her, her husband would be responsible.
Watson contends his 33-year-old wife walked away from their home after an argument in January 1997, leaving her car, clothes and her two children.
The jury may get the case Tuesday afternoon.
