Half Falcons' draftees under contract

FLOWERY BRANCH - The Atlanta Falcons have half of their eight draft choices under contract after signing guard Martin Bibla.

The fourth-round pick from Miami signed a three-year deal Wednesday worth about $1.2 million.

The 6-foot-3, 306-pound Bibla will be competing for the left guard position with Travis Claridge and Michael Thompson.

Safety Kevin McCadam, wide receiver Kahill Hill and offensive tackle Kevin Shaffer also have signed contracts.

First-round choice T.J. Duckett, linebacker-end Will Overstreet, quarterback Kurt Kittner and wide receiver Michael Coleman have not signed but are participating in the Falcons' passing camp this month.
