All clear at Suwanee City Hall

SUWANEE - Authorities have issued an all clear at Suwanee City Hall after people who work there had been evacuated since about 9:00 a.m. Tuesday.<br> <br> The Gwinnett Bomb Squad MARTA Police bomb experts removed a suspicious package from a police car.<br> <br> The package was in a police car that was in the parking lot of Suwanee City Hall. It was confiscated Monday night when police arrested a man during a traffic stop.<br> <br> Tuesday morning police executed a search warrant at the man&#39;s motel room. That&#39;s when they became concerned. &#34;They came across evidence that led them to suspect that the package might be dangerous,&#34; Lynn DeWild of the city of Suwanee said.<br> <br> DeWild said the bomb squad was called in shortly after the package was discovered about 9:00 a.m. She said the bomb squad said little about what they had found, but said it was rendered safe and people were allowed back into City Hall about 2:30 p.m. <br> <br> She said the package was sent off to the Georgia Crime Lab for further investigation.
