Department of Motor Vehicle Safety says 21 traffic deaths during holidays

ATLANTA - The Department of Motor Vehicle Safety predicted Wednesday that there will be 21 traffic fatalities during the July fourth holiday weekend in Georgia. <br> <br> The DMVS count will cover the period from 6 p.m. July 3 to midnight July 7. <br> <br> The department said there with be 2,999 accidents during the period, resultging in one-thousand-four injuries. <br> <br> During last year&#39;s July fourth holiday period, there were 1,183 accideents with four deaths and 321 injuries.
